Event Overview:
Join us for a hands-on morning in the woods where we’ll slow down, learn the landscape, and give back to it.
This experience blends a guided plant identification walk with light volunteer work focused on removing invasive species and supporting the health of the local ecosystem. Whether you’re brand new to plant ID or already have some knowledge, this is a chance to deepen your understanding while getting your hands in the dirt.
We’ll start with a short intro and head out on a walk to learn how to recognize common plants, trees, and invasive species. After a quick break, we’ll shift into action—helping remove invasive vines and doing light trail or garden work.
To wrap things up, we’ll regroup, reflect on what we learned, and snap a group photo. There may even be a wild-foraged treat or plant-based tasting (think black birch iced tea 👀).
